Description
The overall objective of the assignment is to facilitate the transformation of the electricity market and to expedite the implementation of Moldova’s commitments under the EnC Treaty.
The specific objective of this project is to draft Methodology for calculation, approval and application of tariffs for the Electricity Market Operator in Moldova in an optimal way and in compliance with the Provisions of the Law on Electricity no 107 of 27 May 2016 (the law which is compliant with the Third Energy Package). The proposed solution is fully compatible with the purpose and overall scope of EU4Energy Initiative as well as the EnC acquis.
Kantor’s role is to provide and organize the following:
• Analysis of financing models in the European Union and the countries of the European Community
• Development of a Methodology for calculation, approval and application of tariffs for the Electricity Market Operator,
• Consultation and feedback documentation
• Capacity building to Moldovan Electricity Stakeholders in the area of Electricity Market; Organization of a kick-off meeting and a workshop dedicated to the topics mentioned above
