Description

The main purpose of the project was to minimize and optimize costs for the marketing department of EKO & Hellenic Fuels. This project included optimization of operations and implementation of organizational interventions aimed at the functional integration of EKO and HF through a synergy program that concerns most business sectors. In this way, the object of the project were both the sales and marketing departments of the two companies, as well as the entire supply chain of the companies (facilities, primary and secondary transport, maintenance). The need to achieve results in a short time, created the need to implement actions to minimize and optimize costs in the year 2011.

 

In the context of the design of the new organizational structure of the oil trading companies of the ELPE Group (EKO and Hellenic Fuels), the project included:

  • Corporate reorganization planning
  • Defining a new organizational structure for companies
  • Identify possible ways to improve profitability, in order to ensure its viability in the new macroeconomic environment

 

The project was implemented in four (4) phases as follows:

Phase A: Identification of focusing areas

Phase B: Joint identification of improvement cases

Phase C: Development of alternative interventions

Phase D: Implementation and action plan
