The operation of Boutari depends on bank financing, but has significant assets. At the same time, some Greek winemakers are distinguished in exports. Eurobank wishes:

• To investigate whether the installed capacity of Boutari Group could help these companies achieve greater penetration in foreign markets
• To identify synergies between BOUTARIS group or its individual assets and the industry’s dynamic companies
• To investigate whether  it is possible to add value through a possible merger of the aforementioned companies and BOUTARIS group or by simple absorption of its assets

• Analysis of the Greek wine market and its trends
• Gathering of industry’s financial data
• Identification of industry’s leading companies, analysis of their size and mapping of their characteristics
• Grouping of BOUTARIS assets
• Classification of Boutari’s assets based on their utilization prospects by potential buyers
• Submission of a list which includes potential buyers (Greek producers or traders) for those assets
